Dr. Renato Zaccheddu

I'm a Magenta (by Milan) native, born on January 11, 1970, and the second in a brood of four. Growing up, I was all about sports (big on football and cycling – still am!) and hitting the books. The sciences always had my heart. After nailing my scientific high school diploma in '89, I jumped straight into studying Medicine at the University of Milan, graduating in July '95.

I've always believed in looking at the big picture. Post-graduation, I felt a pull to broaden my horizons – literally. So, after my military tenure, I packed my bags for England in '97, stayed till 2000, with a stint in Johannesburg in between. It was here I got my first taste of General and then Plastic Surgery. But the real game-changer was joining Professor Ivo Pitanguy's school in Rio – a man who was more than a surgeon; a humanist, an innovator, a leader in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery for over half a century. From 2000 to 2003, Rio was my classroom, brimming with intense learning.

After Brazil, I headed back to Europe, landing in England in 2004 to kick off my career as an Aesthetic Surgeon. Since 2007, I've been spreading my wings into Milan, and more recently, Parma. And here I am, still learning, still growing.

I've trained under the best, especially the unparalleled Professor Pitanguy. My journey, straddling Brazil, the UK, and Italy, has been rich and varied, with over 9000 surgeries under my belt as of January 2024. My mission? Your satisfaction. That's my professional joy, right from our first handshake.

Like in the movie 'Sliding Doors,' life's all about those pivotal moments. For me, it was meeting two incredible Italian surgeons in England – Dr. Giulio Gherardini and Dr. Paolo Cajano. They were my gateway to Professor Pitanguy. I owe them big time.
